Discussion Forums
Engage in thought-provoking discussions focused on current challenges in cleft and craniofacial care. As ACPA’s core model is based on interdisciplinary care, these forums will replace individual discipline forums. Our topics (subject to change) currently are:
*ACPA’s Model of Interdisciplinary Team Care in an International Team Setting
*Challenges of the Small or Rural Interdisciplinary Cleft or Craniofacial Team
*Navigating and Supporting the Path of Women in Surgical Roles on an Interdisciplinary Care Team
*Financial Challenges for the Cleft or Craniofacial Team in Providing Dental and Orthodontic Care
*Strategies to Enhance Communication and Planning Between the Team, Family, and Community Providers
*Transitioning From Pediatric to Adult Care: Strategies for the Team and our Patients
