ACPA Approved Teams are listed on the website and are available for the general public to reference when choosing a provider for cleft and craniofacial healthcare needs.
Cleft palate and/or craniofacial teams in the US and Canada voluntarily apply for review. If a team is not listed as an ACPA Approved Team, it may mean that the team has not applied or that the team does not meet the minimum requirements for listing approval. This listing does not imply endorsement of any team by ACPA or the Commission on Approval of Teams. ACPA does not review or approve international treatment teams.
Cleft Palate Teams, Craniofacial Teams, and Cross-Specialty Teams are composed of healthcare providers working together to address a variety of needs throughout a person’s life. Cleft Palate Teams treat patients with cleft lip and/or cleft palate and Craniofacial Teams perform transcranial procedures. Cross-Specialty Teams are approved as both Cleft Palate and Craniofacial Teams. ACPA does not offer any opinion about courses of treatment for individuals. Specific treatment decisions will be determined between the patient and their treatment team. View listings of approved teams.
Though ACPA does not guarantee the accuracy of listings, teams have indicated that the information they submit is truthful and correct to the best of their knowledge. Every effort is made by ACPA to present team information as accurately as possible. Please Contact Us with updates.
