All attendees must cancel their own hotel reservations. There will be no fee to cancel reservations made in the ACPA block at the Hilton Portland Downtown or the Duniway if cancellation is made 72 hours prior to check-in. Call the hotel at (503) 226-1611. Cancellation policies may vary at other hotels. We encourage you to cancel reservations as early as possible.
While the Annual Meeting is ACPA’s largest source of revenue, ACPA is in a stable fiscal position with ample excess reserves. We will be working with the Hilton Portland Downtown. The State of Oregon has limited meetings of more than 250 people, which may limit ACPA’s financial risk.
At this time, there are no alternative plans. The Board of Directors understands how important it is for the community to gather each year and is exploring other options. Any additional information will be shared in the near future. Further updates regarding the meeting will be published on https://acpa-cpf.org/annual-meeting/.
Anyone who has paid a registration fee to ACPA will have refund options. Thank you for your patience. More information will be made available in the next two weeks, and all refunds will be processed within 90 days. We request that you do not contact ACPA about your refund and wait for the email that will outline your refund options and the procedures.
No, ACPA is not responsible for travel expenses or penalties under any circumstances for issues beyond our control such as weather conditions. Attendees voluntarily assume all risks involved in travel to and from the meeting and in attendance at and participation in the program. Attendees, speakers and exhibitors should cancel any personal arrangements they’ve made, such as travel and housing reservations.
Award winners and nominators will receive a follow up contact regarding the 2019 Association Awards. Please be patient as ACPA works toward a solution that is meaningful and memorable for the honorees.
No, the 2020 in-person ACPA Annual Business Meeting will not be held. The Board plans to send an update to the all voting members in April.
