The ACPA Family Services Leadership Award recognizes an individual or group, such as a parent, patient, advocate, or community organization, who has demonstrated exceptional service and leadership on behalf of individuals with cleft or craniofacial anomalies. Award recipients receive $500 towards travel to ACPA’s Annual Meeting where they are formally recognized for their contributions.
Award nominations must be made by a sponsor and co-sponsor who provide cleft-related services. The sponsor and co-sponsor must each write a statement of support. Nominees must have demonstrated exceptional service and leadership for no less than three years. Past nominations that have not been selected for award may be updated and resubmitted. Cleft and craniofacial care providers are not eligible for this award.
