Dear ACPA Community,
Due to the ongoing pandemic and its impact on both healthcare institutions and individual members, the ACPA Board of Directors has unanimously decided to hold a virtual Annual Meeting in 2021. Like many of you, we look forward to coming together with our colleagues every year and are disappointed to not convene in person. This difficult decision was made with careful consideration and was not taken lightly. A virtual meeting in 2021 will allow all professionals a chance to participate.
The ACPA Program Task Force, led by John F. Caccamese, DMD, MD, FACS, is working to create a premier educational and networking experience for members in 2021. ACPA’s Virtual Annual Meeting will combine both live and recorded sessions to include new research, developing information and instructional courses on cleft lip/palate and craniofacial anomalies. The virtual experience will incorporate many aspects of the meeting that we have traditionally valued such as specialty sessions, posters, panel presentations and short courses, along with networking opportunities. As always, we will offer ACCME, ASHA and Nursing continuing education.
ACPA’s Annual Meeting has long been the meeting for cleft and craniofacial professionals, and we invite you to submit an abstract for this unique virtual experience by September 1, 2020.
We are excited to reveal the 2021 educational calendar this fall. Please keep an eye on your inbox for more information.
Thank you for being a part of ACPA.
