March 12, 2020 Update: ACPA’s Annual Meeting is canceled.

March 11, 2020 Update: We appreciate everyone’s patience as the Board considers this difficult decision.  We know by the volume of emails and calls that there are questions. There are ACPA Bylaws requirements as the Board makes this important decision.  It is essential that the Board gather as much data and information as possible. The situation is changing with each passing day, and the additional time ensures that the Board is making a fully informed decision. We are striving to update everyone and appreciate our attendees understanding during this unprecedented time.  We will communicate the updated meeting status and any policy changes, including changes to the cancellation policy deadline, as soon as we are able.

March 9, 2020 Update: Due to the fluid and evolving situation, ACPA has worked with the Portland Hilton Downtown to change the deadline for attendees to cancel their hotel reservations.  Attendees can now wait to cancel their reservation up to 72 hours before arrival.

An official announcement will be made on Monday, March 16 with respect to whether or not the Annual Meeting will continue as planned. We are continuing plans for what has been predicted to be a record-setting meeting.

March 3, 2020: ACPA remains committed to moving forward responsibly with the 77th Annual Meeting in Portland, Oregon March 31–April 4, 2020. Based on the information available now, the meeting will take place as scheduled. ACPA is excited that as of today, 862 individuals have registered – making this ACPA’s largest meeting ever.

ACPA is carefully monitoring developments related to the coronavirus (COVID-19) including all statements and guidance issued by the US Centers of Disease Control (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO).  ACPA will continue to take matters regarding this situation seriously.

ACPA has been working with the Travel Portland and the Portland Hilton Downtown to ensure the safest meeting possible. ACPA will continue to follow updates from health authorities and remain in discussion with the Board of Directors.

Attendees of ACPA’s 77th Annual Meeting are encouraged to follow recommended precautions to prevent transmission of infectious diseases.
