ACPA is excited to announce an exciting opportunity for professionals: ACPA is searching for a new Editor for The Cleft Palate-Craniofacial Journal (CPCJ).

Jack C. Yu, DMD, MD, MS Ed, editor since 2011, has decided to step down at the end of his contract which ends December 2019.  I would personally like to thank Jack for his commitment to ACPA and the journal.  He has been editor through changes in ACPA leadership, the merger with the foundation and the move to a new publisher.  Through it all, he has been committed to producing a world-class publication and to publishing high quality research.

With Jack’s imminent departure, ACPA is accepting editor applications for a three-year term beginning January 1, 2020.  The editor will be responsible for soliciting, reviewing and making final decisions on submissions to the journal and will manage all aspects of the publication and review process.   The Call For Proposals: New Editor has more information about the position requirements and application procedure.  All applications should be submitted by November 5, 2018.

I ask that you take a minute to think about someone who would be interested in the position and to send them the information, and I encourage you to consider applying yourself.  We are excited to find someone to lead CPCJ into its next chapter.
