The application period for ACPA’s 2019 Professional Awards is now open. These awards offer cleft care providers the opportunity to engage in ACPA’s Annual Meeting and claim the benefits of ACPA membership. Please note eligibility requirements and share this information with anyone who may be interested. Deadline for all applications is October 5, 2018
- David P. Kuehn Speech Scholarship for Students Enrolled in a Communication Sciences and Disorders Program or Related Field This award is designed to help current master’s or doctoral students enrolled in a communication sciences and disorders or related program participate in ACPA’s Annual Meeting. The Kuehn Scholarship provides a one-year ACPA Student Membership, $500.00 for travel expenses related to ACPA’s Annual Meeting, and registration for ACPA’s Annual Meeting and Pre-Conference Symposium. - Donna Pruzansky Memorial Fund Grant for Nurses Nurses who devote at least 50% of their work time to cleft-craniofacial care and who wish to increase their knowledge of the field are encouraged to apply. The DPMF Grant provides a one-year membership in ACPA, $500 for travel expenses to the Annual Meeting, and meeting registration. Current ACPA members are not eligible to apply. - Karlind T. Moller Cleft/Craniofacial Scholarship for Speech Pathology/Audiology Students
This award helps current undergraduate/graduate students in accredited speech-language pathology and/or audiology degree programs fund research/projects involving patients with cleft lip/palate and/or other craniofacial anomalies. The Moller Scholarship provides a one-year ACPA Student Membership and $500.00 for research/project expenses. Award recipient must provide evidence of current enrollment in a US-accredited institution or training program. Read more about the scholarship and apply.
