Building a High Performance Team
Tuesday, August 7, 2018, 3:00 PM ET The workplace is a complex arena of social engagement; at its best it is functional and collaborative in moving towards a given vision and mission. At worst, it can be a dysfunctional combat zone! In this session, we will explore the need for leaders to focus on not simply the work to be done but how the team does the work. Whether a team leader or “leading up” within a team, this session will offer insight and practical ideas for implementation. Continuing Education is available for this webinar.

Structure Versus Function: Managing Complex Velopharyngeal Dysfunction
Friday, August 10, 2018, 1:00 PM ET
In this webinar, the impact of velopharyngeal mislearning on both perceptual and instrumental findings will be reviewed.  Audio-video recordings of cases will be presented to highlight obligatory versus compensatory errors and to discuss decision-making when etiology of VPD is multi-factorial.  Attendees will be able to describe how changes in faulty articulation can improve velopharyngeal function for speech production.  Continuing Education is available for this webinar.

ACPA provides continuing medical, speech, and nursing education through ACCME, ASHA, and ANCC for designated webinars. Please contact ACPA with any questions or feedback. Visit ACPA Online Learning for a complete list of webinars and courses available on demand.
