We are always trying to share new stories, photos and artwork to inspire the community and to spread cleft and craniofacial awareness. There are a couple of ways you (or your family or your team) can contribute.
- ACPA had an art contest to celebrate its 75th Anniversary. Several images have been shared on the cover of The Cleft Palate-Craniofacial Journal, and we will be sharing other winning artwork on the ACPA blog. We would like to continue to share artwork from our families, care providers and members in order to spread awareness of each of your individual and unique cleft and craniofacial journeys.
- ACPA Family Services is getting a new look – new website and publication designs are in the works. Because these resources are for our families, we want them to feature you. ACPA invites anyone from the cleft-craniofacial community to submit professional-quality photos for consideration. We encourage submissions from every age and background, including individual and family shots.
- ACPA is also seeking impactful stories from our incredible community to help increase awareness and understanding of cleft and craniofacial conditions. We invite you to write a brief narrative of your experiences to be shared in ongoing national awareness campaigns.
Please email us for more information or to submit your items. Your submissions may be published in a newsletter email, on our websites, on social media, on ACPA Family Services publications or in other ways to reach and benefit the cleft and craniofacial community. Your art, pictures and stories will help us broadcast the positive and thriving image of our cleft and craniofacial community. We can’t wait to see what you send.
