With the introduction of ACPA Online Learning, ACPA will be holding webinars to  provide continuing education credit with tailored content for cleft and craniofacial care providers.  ACPA is pleased to announce webinars for May and early June.

  • Media Training for ACPA Approved Teams– May 10 at 1:00PM ET
    Presenters: Adam Bernstein and Amanda DeWeese, Public Relations consultants with Chernoff Newman
    ACPA would like to equip Approved Teams with tools and tips for effectively engaging with news media in your local communities. This complimentary webinar will walk through a PR toolkit for teams that includes PR opportunities, FAQs, rules for engaging with reporters and tips for interview preparation.
  • ACPA Team Approval Information Session– May 22 at 2:00PM ET
    Presenter: Jamie Idelberg, Chair of ACPA Commission on Approval of Teams
    This webinar will provide an overview of the 2018 application for ACPA Team Approval. Examples of responses and tips for preparing and completing the application will be provided. Attendees will gain a better understanding of the approval process and identify the key requirements needed for ACPA Team Approval.
  • Developing a Multidisciplinary Feeding Team for Your Cleft Lip and Palate Program– June 6 at 1:00PM ET*
    Presenters: Courtney Hall, Lauren Madhoun, Caitlin Cummings, Katherine Eastman
    This innovative session extends the traditional discussion of cleft-related feeding disorders by focusing on how cleft teams can identify and troubleshoot challenges to providing comprehensive feeding care for infants with CLP.  The webinar will describe a model of a multidisciplinary cleft feeding team developed at a large pediatric academic medical center that manages over 75 new infants with CLP per year.
