ACPAACPA News, Family Services

During ACPA’s 74th Annual Meeting, the Cleft Palate Foundation (CPF) honored Dr. James Lehman for his conceptual work and leadership of the CPF Endowment campaign. Jim is both a past president of ACPA and CPF. He has contributed to both organizations in innumerable ways and made a profound impact on the cleft community.

The CPF endowment campaign was launched in early 1996 with Jim as campaign chair and president-elect. He became president of CPF later that year and continued to lead the campaign with the assistance of the CPF Endowment Committee. They secured funds from a wide range of sources including the public, corporations, care providers, ACPA members, and ACPA as an organization. Their monumental efforts and dedicated leadership are greatly appreciated.

The CPF Board is pleased to celebrate reaching the goal of a $500,000 endowment, ensuring that this important work supporting patients and families will continue in the future.
