ACPA’s Annual Meeting – Colorado Springs in March
Please mark your calendars to attend the meeting for cleft and craniofacial professionals. ACPA’s Annual Meeting, March 13-18, 2017, is being held at The Broadmoor, and March is a wonderful time to visit Colorado Springs.
According to the travel guide on U.S. News & World Report, “Spring is the best time for adventure-seekers to visit Colorado Springs: Average high temperatures range from the low 50s to the high 60s, making for ideal hiking conditions, and the melting snow quickens nearby streams for whitewater rafters. Plus, because the summer tourists have yet to arrive, deals on hotel rooms abound.”
If you have time to come in before or stay after the meeting, you can make time to see some of the area’s sites. According to U.S. News & World Report, there are things to do for every type of traveler:
- Explore natural sights like Pikes Peak and the Garden of the Gods
- Peruse the funky art galleries in Manitou Spring
- Enjoy the Old West feel of Old Colorado City
- Acquire some airplane expertise at the Air Force Academy
Registration for ACPA’s Annual Meeting and the room block at The Broadmoor open in December.
