ACPA is proud to join Children’s Craniofacial Association (CCA) in celebrating Craniofacial Acceptance Month (CAM) in September.
CCA started CAM to widen the circle of acceptance for individuals with facial differences. The goal is to create awareness of craniofacial differences and to get people to see that “beyond the face is a heart.” CCA has scheduled its 10th Annual National Picnic Day on September 9th, and CCA families across the nation will hold picnics to meet families and promote awareness in their communities.
ACPA is dedicated to creating a world where individuals with cleft and craniofacial conditions thrive, and widening the circle of acceptance for facial difference in our communities is critical to achieving that vision.
